Watts Innovation Zone Planning Charette

Deborah participated in the Watts Innovation Zone Planning Charette in October with colleagues from around the country: India Lee from the Cleveland Foundation, Damon Rich, Urban Designer for the City of Newark, Maurice Cox, Director of the Tulane City Center, Cathy S.C. Jones, real estate developer from Birmingham, and Renee Kemp-Rotan, Director of Cultural Capital Projects for the City of Birmingham. The charette was organized and facilitated by Steve Lewis from Los Angeles in consultation with and on behalf of the Watts Labor Community Action Committee.
